pelican systems sells its’ manufacturing division
KwaZulu Natal based company Pelican Systems will in March of this year mark the end of an era when it sells the manufacturing wing to the newly formed BEE based company Ifuba Products.
Pelican Systems was historically founded on supplying the South African and international markets with a wide range of specialised interior system solutions, which included ceilings, partitions, operable walls, fire doors, architectural doors, and laminate flooring.
The decision to sell its manufacturing plant together with its? established product brands was made in order to shift the company?s key focus to distribution.
However during the initial transition period Pelican and its? associate company Lafarge Gypsum will continue to promote and distribute the entire manufactured product range produced by Ifuba Products.
Says Rodney Gould, managing director of Pelican Systems ?Our business will now be focused on the sale and distribution of Lafarge Gypsums? Jumbo ceiling and partition systems into KZN.?
?The management and staff of Pelican Systems and Lafarge Gypsum would like to take the opportunity of congratulating Ifuba Products on their purchase and wish them every success in their new venture.?
